One of the responsibilities that most captains would rather not do, is to continually call and email to find out who will be playing in the upcoming game(s). That’s why the game attendance feature was created for the BMSL site. To make sure everyone knows about it and how to use it, we created a video about it.

The season starts on Sunday at Chubbuck Field. Three games are on tap starting at 4:00 PM in the afternoon. The Bedford Men’s Softball League registration is now open for the 2011 season! The BMSL is open to men at least 30 Years of Age who live or work in Bedford. Games are played May thru August, at Chubbuck field on Sunday afternoons and evenings as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and culminate with playoffs and a One Pitch Tournament. Player Fee for this season is $130 and checks may be written to Bedford Men’s Softball League or paid online via a credit card. If you are interested in playing please SIGNUP HERE and fill in all the information. If you elect to pay by check instead of online, then send the completed forms (signed), along with a check made out to Bedford Men’s Softball League to Derek Danis’ address on the forms. If you are interested in sponsoring a team also, you can pay that $200 fee at the same time. If you’ve already registered and just want to pay the sponsorship fee, pay here! The deadline to sign up is March 30th so please sign up early. We are looking forward to a great 2012 season! MDC defeated US Water 19-10 in the Championship game to sweep through the playoffs.
The Meat House of Bedford, NH provided the delicious steak tips and chicken for each team’s grill.
Hillary Rankin, owner of The Inside Scoop, along with super scooper Adam, serve ice cream to Maggie and Libby Fox during the BMSL One-Pitch Softball Tournament/ BBQ/ Block Party Sunday August 14th. Rae MacWilliams found a kid’s glove down by the bouncy house Sunday night while cleaning up. It’s a Rawlings righty mitt (tan with black laces). Give Rae a call on his cell – 867 5530.
